Tottenham send scouts to Champions League clash

Tottenham Hotspur appear to be making proactive moves in the build up to the winter transfer window this season.

Spurs failed to make a single summer signing, but have already been linked with a host of top players ahead of the January window.

Belgian news outlet HLN claim Tottenham scouts will be attending the Champions League clash between Club Brugge and Monaco this evening.

Both clubs are unlikely to qualify from their group, as Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid sit joint top.

Spurs may be hoping to lure some talent from the game over the North London, but they will face some stiff competition.

HITC say that a whopping 42 clubs will be in attendance at the game, all keeping an eye on the players on show.

These cubs include Barcelona, PSG, Bayern, AC Milan, Chelsea, Juventus, Inter Milan, Marseille, Valencia, Sevilla, Roma, Lyon, Newcastle and Ajax.

Should be a busy scouting session.
