Tottenham set asking price for player before his contract runs out

According to a report by The Sun, Tottenham have set a £4m price tag on Fernando Llorente as his contract eases towards an end.

The former World Cup winner would be available on a free in the summer, so Spurs may be keen to get a little money back while they can.

Since his arrival from Swansea, Llorente has struggled to even get a bit part role at Spurs, behind the likes of Kane, Alli, Son and Lucas.

One club who The Sun say are interested in signing the Spaniard is Leeds United.

Leeds happen to have Llorente’s former manager Marcelo Bielsa at the helm.

Bielsa managed Llorente during his days at Atletic Blibao in Spain.

The 33 year old could reunite with his old boss and move to high-flying Leeds in the Championship, although a move back to his native land of Spain may be preferred.

The Sun also have Bilbao as potential suitors, as they may look to resign an old fan favourite.
