Tottenham Hotspur have turned their attention to a young German international who has made an impressive start to the Premier League season.
While Mohammed Kudus has been outstanding for Tottenham on the right wing this season, Thomas Frank has a bit of a problem on the other flank.
The Dane has tried Wilson Odobert, Mathys Tel, Brennan Johnson and Xavi Simons in that role, but none have really pulled up any trees.
It has now emerged that Frank is ready to turn to a player whom he knows very well to strengthen that position.

Tottenham eyeing move for Brentford’s Kevin Schade
This report comes from Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who says that Tottenham Hotspur are now closely monitoring the development of Brentford’s Kevin Schade.
The 23-year-old, who Frank took to the Gtech Community Stadium in 2023, has impressed on the left for the Bees this term and has been recalled to the German national side after previously winning four caps.
The former Freiburg man has almost three years left to run on his contract at the West London club, and it is alleged by Plettenberg that Spurs view him as a target for next summer.
Spurs eyeing two more Brentford players
Schade is not the only Bees star on Tottenham’s radar, with Frank thought to be eyeing a raid on his former club for two more players.
It has been widely reported that Spurs are keen on securing the services of Brentford captain Nathan Collins, as Frank remains keen on reinforcing his options in central defence.
Over recent days, it has also emerged that Tottenham could battle two other Premier League clubs for Brentford midfielder Yehor Yarmoliuk.
