Tottenham Hotspur have done something that no other side has in the history of any European competition after their comprehensive win over AZ Alkmaar on Thursday.
Some Spurs fans would have been left scratching their heads after looking at the starting eleven on Thursday, with Ange Postecoglou preferring Wilson Odobert over Brennan Johnson and Mathys Tel.
However, the Frenchman showed exactly why he got the nod, looking a threat whenever he got on the ball and scoring two crucial goals, which were the first of his Tottenham career.
Postecoglou has lavished praise on Odobert for his performance against AZ and suggested that there is a lot more to come from the Frenchman.

Tottenham have so many talented youngsters now
Interestingly, it has been revealed by Opta that Odobert was the fifth player under the age of 21 to find the back of the net in the Europa League for Spurs this season.
Will Lanksher scored his first senior goal for Tottenham in their 3-2 loss at Galatasaray back in November of last year, while Damola Ajayi, Mikey Moore and Dane Scarlett all got on the scoresheet in the Lilywhites’ 3-0 win over Elfsborg in January.
As a result, Spurs have set a new record by becoming the first side in history to have five players under the age of 21 score a goal in the same European campaign.
This stat shows how the Europa League has benefited Spurs
Tottenham have not always given the Europa League the respect it deserves in previous seasons, with Champions League qualification often being seen as the holy grail by the club.
The group stages of the Europa League might not be exciting for fans, but it does provide a great opportunity to blood youngsters and expose them to the big stage.
The likes of Mikey Moore, Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray would have not been able to make the impact they have had this season if not for getting opportunities in the competition.
