Tottenham show strong interest in signing the son of a football icon

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a potential summer move for Bournemouth’s Justin Kluivert, with reports suggesting the North London club see him as a strong candidate to bolster their squad.

Bournemouth have been one of the standout teams of the current Premier League season. Andoni Iraola’s side have exceeded expectations and find themselves in the mix for European football next season.

Several players have impressed under Iraola, and we believe Tottenham should seriously consider poaching a few Bournemouth stars this summer.

Of course, Iraola himself has been linked with a move to Spurs, given Ange Postecoglou’s underwhelming Premier League campaign.

While any decision regarding the manager’s future will likely be made at the end of the season, reports now suggest that the Lilywhites are keeping a close eye on one of Bournemouth’s standout performers.

Spurs emerge as strong contenders for Kluivert

According to CaughtOffside, Tottenham are among the leading candidates for Kluivert’s signature, with the club believing the 25-year-old could make a real impact in their squad.

Justin Kluivert – son of Dutch legend Patrick – has been a consistent performer this season, attracting plenty of interest due to his impressive displays and attacking versatility.

Bournemouth’s reported asking price of €50-55 million (£42-46m) is seen as a fair valuation, making him an attainable target for potential suitors.

While no formal approach has been made yet, Tottenham are expected to step up their interest once the transfer window opens.

Tottenham face competition for Dutch winger

The report also states that Spurs are not the only club monitoring Kluivert. Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Manchester United have all shown interest in the Dutchman, with United reportedly considering him as an option to strengthen their attacking depth.

The Bournemouth winger has been directly involved in 20 goals this season—netting 13 times and providing seven assists—and is believed to be open to a move should a Premier League giant come calling.

With multiple clubs in the race, Spurs will need to act decisively if they want to secure Kluivert’s services ahead of the competition.
