Tottenham Hotspur have a clean bill of health going into tomorrow’s Premier League opener against Everton.
Jan Vertonghen has been cleared as fit to play after recovering from the ankle injury he picked up while on international duty with Belgium in Euro 2016, however his compatriot Mousa Demebele is still serving a suspension after being sent off at Chelsea towards the end of the last campaign.
Dembele’s suspension could mean a debut for new signing Victor Wanyama, while Vincent Janssen is likely to be named among the Spurs substitutes.
