Tottenham star admits he dreams of swapping N17 for Real Madrid or PSG

One Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been asked directly about a potential switch to some of Europe’s biggest clubs in the summer, and he gave a very interesting response.

While there has already been plenty of speculation about potential incomings at Tottenham Hotspur this summer, the club might also be wary of losing some key men if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Reports over recent days indicate that Cristian Romero wants to leave Spurs this summer while some sources indicate that Dejan Kulusevski is also attracting interest from Champions League sides.

Now, another Tottenham man has spoken about the possibility of swapping the Lilywhites for a bigger club in the future.

Pape Sarr speaks about his Tottenham transfer dream

Senegalese outlet D Sports spoke to Pape Sarr about his future on the back of the youngster’s impressive rise over the last couple of years at Tottenham.

The 22-year-old insisted that he does not pay any attention to the transfer rumours, insisting that he is fully focused on doing well for Spurs.

Sarr said: “There are people who deal with these aspects for me. I am focusing on the field and on Tottenham. I have to be efficient, and I trust my agents to manage discussions with other clubs. For now, I’m here, and I’m totally focused on Tottenham.”

When asked specifically what he would do if the likes of Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich came calling for him tomorrow, the midfielder responded: “Every player dreams of climbing the ladder and playing with the biggest clubs in the world.

“But as I said, I’m at Tottenham, and I’m focusing on this season with them. Anything that comes next will be a bonus. I am ready for all the challenges that will come to me.”

Sarr has a mature head on his shoulders

With these comments, the young Tottenham midfielder once again shows that he has maturity beyond his years and is firmly keeping his feet on the ground.

It is sometimes easy to forget just how young Sarr is, given that he has now been playing at the highest level for the last four years – first at Metz and now at Spurs.

The Senegal international possesses the all-round qualities to evolve into a top-class operator in the middle of the park over the next couple of years.
