Transfer deadline day is quite a nervy and exciting time for fans as they await to see whether their clubs pull off any last-minute deals.
While the day started off on quite an exciting note for Spurs fans, with the club alleged to have won the race for Emerson Royal and thought to eyeing late moves for the likes of Adama Traore and Ruben Neves.
However, deadline day now looks set to end in a damp squib, with Emerson the only player expected to arrive through the door, according to multiple sources (including Alasdair Gold and Jack Pitt-Brooke).
It seems like it is not just Spurs fans who are getting restless and impatient about the lack of transfer news regarding the club but also one of their players.

This might be wishful thinking on my part but perhaps Reguilon has asked the question because he knows Spurs are interested in a couple of players. With him being Traore’s teammate for Spain as well, maybe the 24-year-old knows something we do not.
