Tottenham star believes there will be no new signings in January

Tottenham Hotspur booked their place among some of the biggest teams in Europe on Tuesday as they drew with Barca 1-1 in the Champions League.

Spurs are also enjoying their best ever start to a Premier League season in a domestic sense, while remaining in the two cup competitions too.

This means the club are still fighting on four fronts for silverware this season, with Pochettino looking for his first trophy of his managerial career.

Tottenham have also gone over a decade without getting their hands on a trophy.

Spurs became the first ever side not to sign a single new player in the summer transfer window earlier this year since its inception, and one man believes this will continue through the winter.

Fans may have been hoping to see their club splash the cash in January, especially after the success of the team so far this season.

However, Danny Rose doesn’t think his manager will spend in the next transfer window.

inews quoted him as saying: “It’s no secret all the teams have spent a lot more than what we have. The manager did not make any signings in the summer and he is probably not going to make any signings in January. For him to do what he has done and what he is doing now speaks volumes of him. It’s no coincidence big teams are being linked with him. We hope he stays for a really long time.”
