Tottenham star does not want to give up on the Premier League title this season

So far this season in the Premier League, Liverpool have been head and shoulders above any other team in England, taking a perfect 21 points from seven games so far.

Tottenham Hotspur sit five places and ten points further back in the current Premier League table, leaving it all to do if they want to push for the title.

Unfortunately, Spurs’ recent form does not suggest that a title push is on the cards any time soon, as they have won just three out of seven League games, whilst also getting knocked out of the Carabao Cup.

However, it is a season of 38 games, not seven, so there is always time for Pochettino and his players to turn things around before the final whistle is blown.

That is the attitude of Spurs star Heung Min Son anyway, who does not want to give up on pushing for the trophy.

He said (Goal): “What counts for people are titles. We have been close to winning a title so often. I hope that the time has finally come.

“Liverpool will certainly lose points. I would not say that they play at a different level.

“I definitely do not want to give up. There are also 10 points to catch up. Especially if you look at how many games are left to play. Everything can happen.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

Many may laugh at these comments from Son, but I applaud them. He isn’t saying Spurs will or have a good chance at winning the title. He is merely stating that there is no point in giving up. Spurs should be confident and aiming to win the next 31 games, or die trying.
