Tottenham star edges towards shock £50m exit

Reports suggest that Daniel Levy is in surprise negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over the transfer on decade-long servant to the club, Danny Rose.

Rose signed for Tottenham for £1m from Leeds in 2007 but could be set for a sensational £50m exit, swapping London for Paris.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is said to be keen to part ways with the left-back, as he has fallen out of favour with manager Pochettino.

With Ben Davies nailing down the first team position, and the likes of Kyle Walker-Peters and Jan Vertonghen providing cover, it is thought that Rose’s services are no longer required.

Rose could be frustrated with a lack of recent playing time, so don’t be surprised to see a move completed before the August 31 deadline

  1. I can’t see him commanding a £50m fee after last season. That is certainly a good price if we can get it. With KWP not being left footed, it will be hard for him to rotate with Ben Davies (who isn’t having a good start to the season). It would have made more sense to transfer out Aurier as KWP could rotate with Trippier (who had an amazing World Cup) at right back. Sadly the deal with Atletico Madrid collapsed at the last minute. He put in a great cross for the goal on Saturday, but the rest of his game was typically erratic and error strewn. No doubt in big games he will give away penalties and cost us again as he did last year.
