Tottenham and USA star Cameron Carter-Vickers has joined Swansea City on loan until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
With Toby Alderweireld staying put for the time being, it looked as if only one of Carter-Vickers and Foyth would be needed for the year, with Pochettino going for the latter.
Carter-Vickers impressed on loan to Ipswich Town and Sheffield United last season, and will be relishing another Championship challenge to further his career.
Is this a good move for all involved?
Fans could assume that the young American will return next season as a first team contender, perhaps after Alderweireld does finally exit the club
