Tottenham star looks ahead to crunch week for the club

Tottenham Hotspur are facing perhaps their most crucial week of the season so far, starting with a London derby against Chelsea on Saturday.

This is followed up by a must-win game against Inter Milan to keep their Champions League hopes alive, ending with a North London Derby against rivals Arsenal.

Spurs could find themselves picking up six points from their league rivals this week, or they could see themselves drop behind in the race for top four.

They could also find themselves knocked down into the Europa League, or their slim hopes may keep shining if they win by two or more goals against Inter.

It’s a crucial week of many opportunities, and many outcomes for Poch and his men.

It all starts with third against fourth in the Premier League’s late Saturday kick off this weekend.

Chelsea are unbeaten in the Prem so far this season, and Spurs will be desperate to end that run at Wembley.

One of Tottenham’s star performers Lucas Moura told the club website: “Brilliant, brilliant games and an amazing week.

“These are all huge matches – Premier League, Champions League – and I can’t wait for these games. We want to win. We need to win. We still believe in the Champions League.

“We’re working so hard, we’re near the top in the Premier League and it’s not easy, every game is so tough, every game is a test.

“The intensity is so high. Palace…that’s one of the most difficult games and we can’t always play well, but we got the three points. We didn’t play as well as we can but we scored, 1-0 and three points. We can’t play well for all 38 games but we always need to win. We did that and we stayed at the top – that’s the objective.

“It’s a dream to play these games and as I always say, I am privileged.”
