Tottenham star made zero tackles and zero accurate crosses against Fulham

Destiny Udogie had a nightmare at Craven Cottage, with the left-back’s stats on WhoScored not making for good reading.

Tottenham went into the game against Fulham high on confidence after thrashing Aston Villa 4-0 last Sunday but the Lilywhites delivered what was arguably their most disappointing performance of the season leading up to the international break.

The Cottagers ran out deserved 3-0 winners, with the away side not only looking all over the pace defensively but also struggling to create chances going forward.

Udogie struggled against Fulham

Several of Tottenham’s reliable stars had stinkers on Sunday, not least Udogie, who delivered one of his most disappointing displays in a Spurs shirt so far.

According to WhoScored, the left-back did not register a single tackle, interception or block through the whole 90 minutes nor did he complete a single cross.

The 21-year-old also completed just 40 passes all night, which was the lowest by a distance of any member of Tottenham’s back four.

Udogie and Dragusin did not cover themselves in glory, struggling to cope with Fulham’s overloads on their right, which left us severely exposed. It is back to the drawing board for Postecoglou, whose system was severely exposed by Marco Silva and not for the first time this season.
