One Tottenham Hotspur man has made it into Whoscored’s Team of the Week across the top five leagues in Europe after his impressive showing on his return to the starting eleven against Manchester United.

Tottenham star serves a reminder of his quality on return
Guglielmo Vicario showed on his return to the Spurs starting eleven on Sunday just what the Lilywhites were missing at the back, with the Italian marshalling the backline and constantly bellowing instructions to his teammates.
Ange Postecoglou has spoken about the leadership qualities that the 28-year-old brings which are crucial to this young Spurs side, but the former Empoli man also reminded everyone of his world-class shot-stopping ability.
He made several fine stops and looked assured as usual under pressure, helping Tottenham come away with a clean sheet and register their first Premier League home win since November.

Tottenham star Guglielmo Vicario named in Team of the Week
Vicario has now made it into WhoScored’s best eleven of the weekend across the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Serie A.
The Tottenham number one was handed a match rating of 8.37 for his performance against Man Utd, which was higher than any other goalkeeper across the top five leagues.
It is certainly an impressive return to action for someone who has missed more than three months of action with a fractured ankle.

Vicario’s Tottenham teammates realise his value
It is not just Postecoglou who has spoken glowingly about the Italian’s leadership qualities and his influence on the dressing room, but several of the goalkeeper’s teammates have also talked about his importance to the side.
One of those is Dejan Kulusevski, who admitted after the win on Sunday that he is delighted to see Vicario back, revealing that his return galvanises the whole side.
Kulusevski told The Standard: “I’m a huge fan of Vicario. Like a huge, huge fan. His energy is unmatched, he is fantastic. I told him, ‘When you come back the whole stadium needs to feel it’. That’s what he does. He’s an unbelievable goalkeeper. He made a couple of saves and, so with him back, it’s a big, big player.”
