Tottenham star nominated for Premier League Player of the Month

Tottenham Hotspur star, Harry Kane has been nominated for the prestigious Premier League Player of the Month award for March.

Although the month is not yet over, there are no further Premier League matches scheduled to be played until the international break is over in April.

During the month of March, Kane played four games and scored three goals for the Lilywhites, as well as recording two assists in that time. EA Sports also claim that he had a passing accuracy of 70% and took 15 shots in total.

Kane comes up against some fierce opposition this month in the form of Man United’s Luke Shaw, West Ham United’s Jesse Lingard, Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen, Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho, Man City’s Riyad Mahrez, Leeds United’s Illan Meslier, and Brighton’s Leandro Trossard.

Harry grabbed two goals and two assists against Crystal Palace earlier this month, as well as a penalty against Aston Villa. However, with 17 goals and 13 assists in the league this season, he may have his eyes on the Player of the Season award instead (TransferMarkt).
