Tottenham star one of four players nominated for Europa League Player of the Week

Tottenham Hotspur playmaker, Giovani Lo Celso has been nominated for the Europa League Player of the Week award after his performance against Royal Antwerp last night.

With Tanguy Ndombele injured for the North London Derby, Lo Celso was handed a rare Premier League start on Sunday, followed up by another appearance in the starting XI against Antwerp.

Lo Celso clocked up 90 minutes against the Belgian side and virtually ran the show from start to finish, even scoring the all-important second goal.

Spurs managed to finish top of Group J with the win over Antwerp, ensuring that they will be seeded for the knockout round draw on Monday.

Lo Celso was on fire at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, dribbling past players for fun, creating space, and setting up chances for his teammates.

However, he is up against fierce competition in the form of Beier (Hoffenheim), Sowe (CSKA Sofia) and Bailey (Leverkusen), all of whom netted two times last night.
