Mohammed Kudus is expected to have an extremely hostile reception when he returns to the London Stadium as a Tottenham player tomorrow, but the winger has made a philosophical comment about returning to his former stomping ground.
Mohammed Kudus became the first player since 2011 to swap West Ham for Tottenham, with Scott Parker being the last player to make that move 14 years ago.
It is not just the move that has left a sour taste in the mouths of Hammers fans, but also the fact that Kudus made it clear that joining Spurs was his number one priority.
Kudus even said during his medical at Hotspur Way that Tottenham is in his heart, which some saw as being disrespectful to West Ham fans.

‘Mohammed Judas’ chant expected in West Ham vs Tottenham
According to The Sun, the Spurs winger is expected to be greeted with chants of ‘Mohammed Judas’ at the London Stadium tomorrow.
The Ghana international may face the most hostile atmosphere he has personally faced over his career, but the 25-year-old insists that he is actually looking forward to returning to West Ham.
Kudus told the outlet ahead of the clash: “It will be nice to go back. But for me, it will be another game in the Premier League. It will be the same approach. But I’m looking forward to seeing my old team-mates.”
Graham Potter explains West Ham’s decision to sell Kudus
Ahead of the London derby, Graham Potter was also asked about the former Ajax man’s move across London, and he revealed that the player wanted a new challenge.
The Hammers boss insisted that he did not want anyone at West Ham who was not fully committed to the cause.
Potter said about Kudus’ summer transfer: “Sometimes players indicate that it’s time for a new challenge. And we’re at the stage where you want players that are fully committed to West Ham, that want to be here.
“Once that’s the position [the player wants a new challenge], you have to try and get the best deal you can and hopefully grow the team and improve the squad.”
