Tottenham forward Lucas Moura has revealed he had a private conversation with Chelsea’s Jorginho about potentially joining Brazilian side Sao Paulo together.
Joining Spurs from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2018, Moura has endured a rather eventful time in North London, with the highlight obviously being that Champions League semi-final against Ajax.
Despite making over 200 appearances for the club (Transfermarkt), the 29-year-old has not shied away from discussing his future with a year remaining on his current deal.
In a recent interview with Globo Esporte, Moura hinted at a potential return to Brazil to join former side Sao Paulo, who he initially left in 2012 for PSG as a teenager.
Moura has now reignited talk of a move back to the club and in the process revealed he has exchanged messages with compatriot and Chelsea midfielder Jorginho about a potential switch there together.
He told ESPN Brasil: “There was a statement from Jorginho, from Chelsea, saying he was São Paulino, it seems.
“I sent him a private message and said: ‘Let’s go there soon’.
“Then he said: ‘When you go, call me’.
“I said: ‘I’ll remember that.'”

Moura has flirted with a move back to Brazil and Sao Paulo in particular this summer but it is hard to see how it happens with Conte liking him as a depth player for his squad.
