Tottenham Hotspur have now played their final home match of the 2019/20 season and what a strange year it has been for the club.
The Lilywhites parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino, introduced Jose Mourinho, and entered COVID-19 lockdown with the rest of the country.
However, despite the Champions League places having passed Tottenham by this campaign, the time has come for the end-of-season awards. This year, one player has dominated proceedings by scooping all four awards on offer.
The One Hotspur Player of the Season, One Hotspur Goal of the Season, One Hotspur Junior Members’ Player of the Season, and Official Supporters’ Clubs Player of the Season all went to none other than Heung-min Son.
This follows a superb season for the South Korean winger, in which he has managed 18 goals and 12 assists across all competitions, with 11 of each coming in the Premier League (TransferMarkt).
Spurs Web Opinion:
Surgery on his arm, military duty with South Korea, and Heung-min Son still finishes the season strong and claims every award going. Well done, Sonny! Well deserved.
