Harry Kane showed exactly why he is England captain this afternoon after firing his country into the semi finals of the UEFA Nations League.
This is the second semi finals Kane has led England to in under six months.
The Tottenham man also picked up the man of the match award, as well as an assist in the crucial 2-1 win over Croatia.
England were placed in a group with Spain and Croatia for the first taste of Nations League football this year.
They went into this match needing a win to top the group and book a semi finals spot, against the very team they faced in the World Cup semi finals.
England went 1-0 down despite bossing the game throughout both halves.
A loss or score draw would actually see England relegated from the A tier group, so a chance to qualify for a semi quickly turned into a relegation battle.
Jesse Lingard came off the bench to equalise with 15 minutes to go, after Harry Kane prodded a flat throw in towards an empty net.
Kane then grabbed a goal of his own five minutes late, throwing a toe at a delicious Chilwell delivery to grab the winner late on.
England will now play in the semi finals next summer in Portugal.
