Reports suggest that Georges-Kevin N’Koudou has turned down a loan move to Mainz, after the German club made an approach to sign the young winger.
SkySports reported last week that Spurs had accepted a loan offer from Mainz, but it has no come to light that the player has quashed all possibilities of a deal.
N’Koudou is instead said to be holding out for a move back to his native France, where he is currently on a break from Tottenham, a holiday offered to all squad members by Pochettino.
Saint Etienne are said to be considering the lightening N’Koudou, along with Guingamp’s Yannis Salibur, but they only want to complete a deal for one of the two players.
It seems quite clear that the Frenchman is not part of Pochettino’s plans this season, as he has failed to make even the bench for both Premier League games so far this year.
