Tottenham star’s worrying photo may confirm his injury

Tuesday night provided Tottenham fans with a mix of emotions. The north London club put up a fantastic display at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and overpowered Pep Guardiola’s men.

Hugo Lloris’ penalty save in the 10th minute kept Tottenham in the game. The Lilywhites then went on to dominate most of the match but failed to score until fairly late.

Despite Harry Kane’s second half ankle injury, Spurs managed to win the game 1-0 thanks to Heung-min Son’s effort in 78th minute.

The injuries, however, slightly spoiled the mood of Tottenham fans. Spurs’ top goal scorer Harry Kane suffered an ankle twist 10 minutes into the second half, which could potentially end his season.

MRI scans are set to confirm the extent of Kane’s injury, but Pochettino himself has confirmed that it does not look good.

If that wasn’t enough, towards the end of the game Dele Alli was substituted off due to, what looked like, a wrist injury.

The injury did not look as serious as Harry Kane’s, but a recent Twitter photo seems to confirm that the star midfielder has suffered a suspected broken hand.

The photo shows Dele Alli wearing a protective cast on his left hand. The extent of the injury is yet to be confirmed.
