Tottenham Hotspur may not have bought a single new player this entire season, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t already lining up some signings for the summer.
According to a report by Football London, Tottenham are still scouting Leeds United’s Jack Clarke closely after being linked with him in January.
Clarke has quickly risen through the ranks at Leeds this season, becoming one of their most influential players this campaign.
Leeds are currently third in the Championship, behind Sheffield United and Norwich, but still stand a good chance of qualification into the Premier League next season.
Spurs may be hoping that the Championship side drop away from the automatic promotion places, as they may stand more chance of securing Clarke if Leeds remain in the league.
If Leeds miss out on promotion and Tottenham come in for a bid, it may be hard for the smaller club to turn down.
