Tottenham Hotspur supporters have once again voiced their desire to see Mauricio Pochettino back in the dugout, after spotting the former manager ahead of their Champions League tie against Atletico Madrid.
Tottenham Hotspur are no strangers to finding success under the lights in Europe, given the club’s history.
Last season will always be remembered fondly as Tottenham went all the way in the Europa League and claimed their first piece of silverware since 08, and their first European trophy since 1984.
This campaign offers Spurs another opportunity for a repeat, although in the Champions League, a competition they have yet to win. But first, they must get past Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid over two legs.

Tottenham fans tell Mauricio Pochettino to return before Atletico Madrid clash
The first leg of Spurs’ round-of-16 clash is set to take place in Spain at Atletico Madrid’s home ground, and it has since been confirmed that former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will be in attendance.
Pochettino was the man who led Tottenham out the last time they set foot at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, in the Champions League final back in 2019, where they were beaten.
Ahead of the Atletico Madrid tie, the Argentine was spotted on a plane alongside several Spurs supporters, who did not hesitate to seize the opportunity to tell Pochettino first hand that they want him to return to north London.
Pochettino is set to watch Atletico Madrid vs Tottenham live this evening.

Spurs are currently in the midst of a domestic crisis as they battle relegation, and they are expected to enter the managerial market this summer once Igor Tudor’s interim tenure comes to an end.
Tottenham are heavily linked with a Pochettino reunion as they look to recapture some of that 2014-2019 magic.

Of course, Pochettino has often made it clear that he is open to returning to Spurs as he believes he has unfinished business.
The Argentine, however, is currently working with the United States men’s national team and is set to lead them into the 2026 World Cup.
There is also a feeling that Pochettino could then decide on his future once the tournament ends, with reports even claiming that he is Spurs’ preferred option.
However, Tottenham are now set to face competition for Pochettino, with Real Madrid said to be in the race for the former Spurs manager.
