Ben Jacobs has provided a promising update regarding Tottenham’s pursuit of Antonio Nusa, telling the Last Word on Spurs podcast that negotiations between Spurs and Club Brugge are now at an ‘advanced’ stage.
If reports over the last 24 hours are to be believed, it seems like Spurs’ efforts to land Nusa are well on track.
On Wednesday, TEAMtalk asserted that the Lilywhites are confident that the Norway international will be a Tottenham player soon.
The report explained that the 18-year-old remains the club’s ‘priority target’ and those at Hotspur Way expect the deal to be completed this week.

Advanced negotiations for Antonio Nusa to Tottenham
Jacobs has now become the latest journalist to also talk up Tottenham’s chances of quickly concluding a deal for Nusa.
The journalist explained in the LWOS podcast that the negotiations between the Premier League side and the Belgian club have progressed significantly, with the talks still continuing.
He backed up what we have heard from other sources by revealing that the deal is likely to see Nusa being loaned back to Club Brugge until next summer.

The Tottenham hierarchy will be hoping to conclude the Nusa deal within the next couple of days so that they can then focus on bringing a midfielder through the door.
It seems like Gallagher is still the club’s top target but I expect Spurs to quickly move on to alternatives if Chelsea demand a huge fee for the 23-year-old.
