Tottenham target admits his Kane is one of his favourite players

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with several strikers from across Europe over recent months, despite not spending a single penny.

The club are said to be looking for a back up to striker Harry Kane, with uncertainty over Fernando Llorente’s future at the club with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old Spaniard did well of helping to fill the void when Kane was sidelined with ankle ligament damage by scoring three goals last month and setting up two others.

Llorente has even publically stated his intention to extend his stay at Spurs but the club might be looking for a long-term option instead (talkSPORT).

One of the strikers who has been linked with a summer move to Spurs is Espanyol striker Borja Iglesias. The 26-year-old is currently having the best season of his career to date after scoring 13 goals so far for the Catalan-based club.

Iglesias has now revealed in an interview with Spanish publication Comuniate, that Harry Kane is his favourite striker in the world.

The player was asked to name his favourite player in each position and he named Oblak, Mendy, Isco and Kane.

This indicates that the prospect of playing with the Tottenham striker may prove tempting for Iglesias if Spurs do indeed go in for him.
