Tottenham target available for just £12m

After a signingless summer, the first Premier League club to achieve this title in history, it looks as if one of Tottenham’s transfer targets is now available for just £12m.

Following breaking into the Nottingham Forest first team in 2017, young Ben Brereton started turning a lot of heads in the Premier League.

Tottenham and Everton were both said to be interested in signing up the 19-year-old, especially after fans saw him tear apart Arsenal in a 4-2 FA Cup win at the start of 2018.

However, according to The Sun, Blackburn Rovers have had a bid of £6m turned down for the promising youngster, and are said to be weighing up an improved offer of £8m.

Despite Forest implying that they want £12m for the English forward, Spurs fans will be hoping that they don’t cave and accept Rovers’ below asking price bid.

As Premier League clubs are currently unable to purchase players, the Lilywhites would have to wait until January to secure a move for Brereton.

But will he still be there by then, and is he worth the gamble?.
