Tottenham target has price tag set

According to the Daily Star, Lyon have apparently slapped a huge £70m valuation on Tottenham target Tanguy N’dombele.

The 21-year-old midfield star spent last season on loan to Lyon,, impressing enough to earn a permanent transfer in the summer.

Reports from Telefoot in France claim Spurs actually put in a £40m plus bid for the French midfielder in the transfer window.

N’dombele looked immensely impressive as Lyon beat Manchester City in the Champions League last month.

City are now said to also be admirers of the young star.

Mousa Dembele’s contract runs out at the end of the season, leaving a huge whole in the box-to-box midfielder position in North London.

N’dombele could be the perfect player to fill Dembele’s shoes, as not just because their surnames sound similar.

The Lyon man is extremely talented in carrying the ball past players, driving up the pitch, while also getting stuck in defensively.

He is also a full decade younger than the Belgian Dembele.
