Tottenham target likely to stay at current club says report

Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with Lyon’s star midfielder Tanguy N’Dombele this season (HITC).

The midfield powerhouse has been in fine form this year, especially in his side’s Champions League tie against Manchester City.

N’Dombele has passing, power, pace, everything you need in a modern box-to-box midfielder.

Manchester United and Manchester City were both also said to be after the Lyon man.

There were rumours of a January switch, but the player would apparently rather stay at his current club, for the time being at least.

Sky Sources claim that N’Dombele would rather see out the campaign with Lyon, especially as the French club are set to play Barcelona in the Champions League.

Tottenham may see N’Dombele as a long-term replacement for similarly named Mousa Dembele, as the 31-year-old nears the end of his Spurs career.

The 23-year-old N’Dombele could be the future, but he may cost Spurs an arm and a leg to get.
