Tottenham target ready to depart current club

North London rivals Spurs and Arsenal have been alerted after Leon Bailey made it clear he intends to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Jamaican Under-23 international, who is also on Chelsea’s radar is ready to depart after a fine season in the Bundesliga.

The 20-year-old is valued at £40m by the German outfit and his contract runs until 2022 which means Leverkusen can name their price and stick to their guns should clubs circle.

It also adds that Arsenal boss Unai Emery is keen to add more signings having already signed Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, however, Spurs have yet to add to their squad and Mauricio Pochettino is ready to splash the cash for the right player and Bailey certainly fits the mould of a ‘Pochettino type of player’.
