Tottenham target will cost this huge fee

Tottenham Hotspur have suffered a slight transfer blow today, as Football Mercato claim a target of theirs will only be available for a huge fee.

Tanguy Ndombele was reportedly a target for Tottenham Hotspur in the upcoming transfer windows, but they may rethink their plans after Lyon released his valuation.

His current club have put a whopping £100m valuation on the player, as they are determined to keep him for the foreseeable future.

The player has been told he is not for sale unless anyone matches this price.

Tottenham Hotspur will be actively looking for a replacement box-to-box midfield powerhouse after Mousa Dembele leaves at the end of the season.

Pochettino’s Spurs were said to have a £40m bid turned down for Ndombele in the summer (talkSPORT).

The Mirror reported that Pochettino had named the midfielder as his prime target when the transfer window reopened in January.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs will test Lyon’s resolve.
