Tottenham team news ahead on tonight’s MNF clash with United

Tottenham will be thrilled at the strong contingent they have to choose from as the prepare for the huge clash against Manchester United tonight at Old Trafford.

Harry Winks and Erik Lamela made sensational returns last week against Fulham, and are thought to be fit and ready to contend for a starting spot.

Victor Wanyama has just commenced integration with first team training after a lengthy lay off with a knee injury. This indicated that the Kenyan powerhouse could be back in contention within the next couple of weeks.

Juan Foyth is said to be continuing his rehabilitation following a thigh injury, and after Carter-Vickers’ loan move to Swansea, it is unlikely that the young Argentinian will be leaving the club this month.

Heung Min Son is still away at the Asia games as South Korea beat Iran 2-0 in the last 16, sending Son’s team into the quarter finals. If Korea go on to win gold, Son could be absent until Liverpool on the 15th of September.

Danny Rose has been heavily linked with a move away this transfer window, as PSG were said to be interested in the left-back. Recent news has revealed that Marseille are also in for Rose’s signature, so don’t expect to see him feature this evening.

Hugo Lloris is set to keep his spot in the starting line up following his drink driving arrest earlier in the week. It remains to be seen whether he will be wearing the captain’s armband.
