Team News: Ange Postecoglou delivers Spurs update ahead of Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has provided a team news update ahead of tomorrow’s match against Burnley during this afternoon’s press conference at Hotspur Way.

The North Londoners head into the Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium having suffered four consecutive defeats, their longest since a sequence of six defeats back in November 2004.

Such poor form has seen Tottenham lose their grip on a top four finish and Champions League football and face another tough fixture on Tuesday evening when they host Manchester City.

Burnley make the trip to the capital knowing that anything other than a win would confirm their relegation back to the Championship after just one season in the top flight.

The Clarets head into the weekend five points from safety with just two matches to play following their 4-1 defeat at home to Newcastle United last weekend.

Tottenham injury update vs Burnley

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs first-team squad ahead of the clash against Vincent Kompany’s side.

Spurs are without Timo Werner, Destiny Udogie, Ryan Sessegnon, Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon and Ben Davies for the rest of the season.

Postecoglou told the official Spurs website that there are no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match this weekend.

He said: “I think from the last game we’re pretty much as we were, no one’s really changed from it.”
