Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that they will face AS Roma in Israel on Saturday 30 July.
The pre-season friendly has been scheduled as part of the I-Tech Cup and will see Antonio Conte’s side come up against the Europa Conference League winners at the 30,780-capacity Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa.
Roma are managed by former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho, who was dismissed by Daniel Levy in April of last year, just days before he was due to lead his side into the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.
Instead, Levy entrusted Ryan Mason to take charge on an interim basis and saw his side fall to defeat in the Wembley showpiece. Tottenham remains the only club in which the Portuguese has failed to win a piece of competitive silverware after his recent success for the Serie A outfit.
Spurs will begin their pre-season campaign with a tour of South Korea where they will take part in the Coupang Play Series with fixtures confirmed against Team K League (Wednesday 13 July) and Sevilla (Saturday 16 July).
The north Londoners will also travel to Glasgow to face Europa League finalists Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday 23 July.
