Reports now suggest that Tottenham could make a move for a Wolves defender this summer, with the Premier League club open to selling for the right price.
Tottenham Hotspur’s 2024/25 season has been far from impressive. Plenty has gone wrong for the Lilywhites and with the Europa League their only saving grace, attention is gradually turning to next season.
It has been reported that Spurs’ priority signing for next season is in midfield and that is understandable given the poor performances from both Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur.
In fact, Bissouma and Bentancur were one of the lowest-ranked players in our Spurs season ratings.

Tottenham Hotspur enter race for Rayan Ait-Nouri
Of course, the midfield is not the only area that needs strengthening, and Football Insider are reporting that Spurs have their eyes on the full-back position.
It has been revealed that Tottenham have joined the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United in the race for the 23-year-old Rayan Ait-Nouri.
It is no surprise, given that the Algerian international will have just one year remaining on his contract in June.

Spurs’ left-back concerns grow as Wolves reveal Ait-Nouri price
Football Insider has also reported that Tottenham’s interest in a new left-back comes amid concerns over Destiny Udogie’s recent performances, which have seen him drop out of the starting XI.
Djed Spence has frequently been called upon to fill in on the left but is naturally right-sided, forcing the club to explore other options in the transfer market.
Ait-Nouri has emerged as a target, and with Wolves reportedly willing to do business for £40m, the Lilywhites could make their move in the coming months.
Sources indicate that Wolves will struggle to keep hold of their left-back beyond the end of the season, largely due to their poor league campaign.
