Tottenham told they have an exciting prospect for the next 15 years – He hasn’t even made his debut

Tottenham defender, Luka Vuskovic, has received immense praise from his international boss, who believes that the teenager could be a star for his nation for the next decade and a half.

There is a lot of excitement at Spurs about Luka Vuskovic, who has outperformed expectations during his loan spell at Westerlo, not only proving solid defensively but also demonstrating his eye for goal.

The centre-back, who signed for Tottenham back in 2023 when he was just 16 years of age, will link up with the Spurs squad for the first time this summer, having now turned 18.

Reports indicate that Tottenham are over the moon with Luka Vuskovic’s progress out on loan, and the teenager’s performances this season have been recognised with a massive honour.

Croatia boss explains decision to call up Luka Vuskovic

The 18-year-old has been called up to the Croatian national side for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Gibraltar and the Czech Republic.

Manager Zlatko Dalic has now explained the decision to call up the Tottenham man, insisting that Vuskovic will benefit hugely from the experience of being around the environment.

Dalic believes that the teenager can be a star for his country over the next 15 years, and claims that he fully deserves the call-up.

The Croatia boss said about Vuskovic’s call-up (via T Portal): “I think this experience will be very useful for him. And from what we’re seeing, he’s a real prospect for the next 15 years.

“We’ll see if he gets a chance — the competition is tough — but he absolutely deserves to be here and to start integrating gradually.”

Vuskovic is confident he is ready for Tottenham challenge

While the teenager has won many admirers in the Belgian top flight, the jump to the Premier League is a huge one for the inexperienced youngster.

Rubbing shoulders with world-class players in the Croatian national side will do wonders for Vuskovic’s development ahead of linking up with the Tottenham Hotspur squad.

The youngster is certainly not lacking in confidence, with Vuskovic asserting recently that he feels ready to compete for a first-team spot at Spurs.
