According to The Athletic, Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in signing Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo.

It has been reported over recent weeks that amidst Forest’s financial issues – they have to sell players in order to ensure they comply with PSR – Tottenham are eyeing a deal for a few of their players.
It has been suggested that Spurs sense an opportunity to win the race for Morgan Gibbs-White (iNews) while the Lilywhites have also been installed as the favourites to sign winger Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer (The Sun).
The Athletic now claim that Tottenham could be targeting yet another Forest player, with the club said to have their eye on Murillo.

Tottenham have watched Murillo this season
The Brazilian has had an extremely impressive debut Premier League season following his switch from Corinthians last summer and his performances are thought to have attracted the attention of Ange Postecoglou’s side.
However, the report makes it clear that Spurs are not the only ones interested in the 21-year-old, whose list of admirers includes Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Chelsea.
Forest narrowly avoided relegation back to the Championship last season, finishing a single place above the drop zone.
Spurs Web Opinion
Tottenham will find it quite hard to convince any young centre-back to join as the chances of getting regular game time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are extremely limited, given the options three top-class options Ange has at his disposal.
Radu Dragusin only joined in January and has had to be more than patient to get some game time, I’d rather see the likes of Alfie Dorrington providing cover as fourth-choice.
There are other areas of the pitch that require more depth and quality during the summer window rather than central defence, including a new number six to shield the back four, a winger and a target man.
