Tottenham transfer target was spotted at the stadium watching Arsenal clash

It turns out that Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez, who has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs, was in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Gimenez has been one of the most prolific strikes across Europe over the last couple of years, with the centre-forward now looking destined to swap Feyenoord for a bigger club this summer.

The speculation linking the Mexican with a move to Tottenham continues to intensify as we get closer to the summer window, with various outlets suggesting over recent weeks that he is near the top of Spurs’ wishlist (CaughtOffside).

Last week, a report in Medio Tempo claimed that the likes of Arsenal, Juventus, and AC Milan had also approached the striker over a summer move, Spurs and Leipzig are at the front of the queue to land the player.

However, the publication explained that the Feyenoord star had not made a final decision on his next destination and was not in a hurry to do so.

It looks like Gimenez was invited as a guest to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, with the 23-year-old revealing in his latest social media post that he attended the North London derby.

He even took the time to film and post Heung-min Son’s late penalty.

The atmosphere on Sunday was perhaps not as good as it could have been, due to the fact that Arsenal raced to a near-unassailable lead in the first half. However, one would hope that Gimenez was impressed by the facility.
