Tottenham Hotspur have revealed their new number eight ahead of the 2018/19 Premier League season to be Harry Winks.
The 22-year-old from Hemel Hempstead has suffered from multiple injuries since making the step up to the first-team.
However, being given the number eight shirt from Mauricio Pochettino must give the youngster a huge deal of confidence going into the new campaign.
Winks continues to recover from injury but it was confirmed on Thursday the Englishman is returning to first-team training soon.
In addition to Winks, Kyle Walker-Peters has also changed his shirt number from the number 37 to 16.
Kyle Walker-Peters is expected to travel to Newcastle ahead of their season opener against the Magpies.
With Danny Rose’s future at the club in jeopardy, we may be seeing an awful lot more of the 21-year-old this season.
