Tottenham v AZ Alkmaar Confirmed Line Ups: Romero and van de Ven start

Tottenham Hotspur face AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League round of sixteen second leg this evening and the team news has just been confirmed.

Following last week’s first leg in the Netherlands in which Tottenham lost 1-0 to AZ Alkmaar, the home side have it all to do in order to salvage their season.

An own goal from Lucas Bergvall in the return fixture sees Tottenham’s hopes of silverware resting on a victory this evening.

During Friday’s pre-match press conference Ange Postecoglou answered if he could be sacked by Tottenham if he loses the match and given the club’s 13th place position in the Premier League table, any chance of European football next season firmly rests on winning the Europa League.
