There has been a fresh update regarding Inter Milan’s pursuit of Guglielmo Vicario after the Serie A club reached out to the Tottenham number one regarding a summer move.
Inter and Juventus have both been credited with an interest in Vicario ahead of the summer window, with both clubs on the lookout for a new number one.
It has been suggested that Spurs may greenlight the sale of the Italy international for around £25m, with the Nerazzurri thought to be leading the race.

Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario is not the only goalkeeper Inter Milan have spoken to
Gianluca Di Marzio has now confirmed that Inter director Piero Ausilio has been in London over the past few days for ‘a series of meetings and initial contacts’ ahead of the summer window.
Di Marzio also names Vicario as one of the options being monitored by Inter, who are expected to begin discussions with Tottenham in June.
However, interestingly, the journalist reveals that the Serie A club are also continuing to monitor Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez.
In fact, it is asserted that Inter officials have also met with the Argentina international’s representatives regarding a summer switch to the San Siro.
Vicario shows his commitment to Spurs with surgery decision
Reports emerged on Friday morning that Vicario was facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a hernia.
However, it was later announced that the Tottenham goalkeeper had decided to delay his surgery until next week so that he can feature in the big clash against Nottingham Forest.
It was revealed that the minor procedure chosen by Vicario was one designed to have a ‘minimal’ impact on Tottenham’s season, with the shot-stopper expected to be back in action in a month.
