Tottenham Hotspur have identified a new top managerial target to replace Thomas Frank in the hotseat, and he is the same age as Ben Davies.
It is now clear that Frank’s position at Spurs is under serious threat, with some key figures at the club wanting to see the back of the Dane.
However, Frank will still be in charge of Tottenham against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, meaning he still has time to turn things around.
Over recent days, it has been reported that the likes of Andoni Iraola, Mauricio Pochettino, and Oliver Glasner are Tottenham’s top targets to replace Frank.
There have also been suggestions that Spurs could make a move for Xabi Alonso, but it is unclear if the recently sacked Real Madrid boss would be open to a move to N17.

Fabian Hurzeler emerges as top Tottenham target
Football Insider are now reporting that Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has now emerged as a top candidate to take over from Frank at Spurs.
The North London club’s hierarchy have been very impressed by how the 32-year-old has handled the pressures of managing a Premier League club over the last 18 months.
They feel that despite Hurzeler’s young age, he has extensive top-level experience and could be a major asset for the Lilywhites.
It has also not been lost on Tottenham that the German coach is a very popular figure among the Seagulls squad, with his relationship with his players also impressing the North London club.
Would Hurzeler be open to a switch to Spurs?
Football Insider points out that while Frank’s pragmatic style has not gone down well with Tottenham fans, Hurzeler’s forward-thinking and easy-on-the-eye style may be better received at the club.
It is revealed that the Texas-born manager is contracted until the summer of 2027 at the Amex Stadium, which means a deal may not be easy to do.
However, the publication adds that Hurzeler could be tempted to jump ship and take up a new challenge if Tottenham table an offer to the former St Pauli head coach.
