Tottenham Hotspur are considering a highly-rated Bundesliga goalkeeper to replace Guglielmo Vicario in the summer.

An increasing number of sources indicate that Inter Milan are confident of landing Vicario from Spurs in the summer.

In fact, it has even been claimed that Inter’s sporting director has met with the Tottenham number one already about a summer switch to the San Siro.

It emerged last month that Spurs are considering replacing Vicario with a 23-year-old German goalkeeper, and that information has now been backed up by another source.

Tottenhem eye Noah Atubolu as Guglielmo Vicario’s replacement

The Daily Mail have now revealed that with Inter in pole position to land Vicario, Spurs are ready to turn their attention to Freiburg’s Noah Atubolu.

The young goalkeeper, who has notched up 33 clean sheets in 111 appearances in the Bundesliga, has been likened to his role model, Manuel Neuer.

Atubolu’s current deal with Freiburg runs out in 2027, and he has no plans of signing a new deal.

The report also reveals that the German goalkeeper has recently signed on to Epic agency, with agents Marcello Brillmann and Ali Barat, who played a key role in bringing Xavi Simons to Tottenham.

Spurs also eyeing two English goalkeepers

The Mail say that Atubolu is not the only goalkeeper on Tottenham’s radar, with the club also keeping an eye on Crystal Palace’s Dean Henderson and Manchester City’s James Trafford.

The outlet claims that Pep Guardiola’s men are expected to demand £35m to sell Trafford this summer.

However, it was reported by Football Insider last month that Trafford prefers a move to Aston Villa over Tottenham after Unai Emery’s side also expressed interest in the goalkeeper.
