Tottenham will be presented with an ‘easy route’ to sign striker who once cost £76m

A European giant will make it easy for Tottenham Hotspur to sign their player next summer, despite once paying £76m for his services.

There have hardly been any positives to speak of for Tottenham over the past week and a half as they have slipped to three successive losses against Arsenal, PSG and Fulham, conceding 12 goals across those matches.

However, one undoubted positive has been the performances of Randal Kolo Muani, who garnered praise from Thomas Frank after scoring a brace against the parent club last week.

Some pundits believe that Kolo Muani could go on a goalscoring spree for Spurs over the coming months, now that his fitness is improving and his confidence is up.

Tottenham will find a permanent deal for Randal Kolo Muani straightforward

It has been reported by British sources over recent days that Tottenham are still very much open to signing Kolo Muani permanently next summer.

Now, a report by RMC Sport has claimed that the 26-year-old decided to join Spurs in the summer as he was impressed with the project they presented.

The report says that after being left out of Luis Enrique’s plans, the France international wanted to go to Juventus, but Tottenham Hotspur were able to swoop in after PSG’s negotiations with the Serie A giants collapsed.

It is asserted that Spurs ‘will be presented with an easy route’ to buy Kolo Muani permanently at the end of the season.

Pundit makes confident claim about Kolo Muani’s future

Former Bordeaux left-back Benoit Tremoulinas has now asserted that Kolo Muani has no way back at PSG when Enrique is still at the club.

The pundit suggested that while the striker’s professionalism and commitment are not in question, he is not a good fit tactically for the Spaniard’s system.

Tremoulinas told L’Equipe (as relayed by Le10 Sport) about Kolo Muani: “Perhaps he’s realistic about how he arrived in the squad he joined. Maybe the style of play of this Paris Saint-Germain under Luis Enrique didn’t work with Randal Kolo Muani. However, what we can say about the player is that he has always had an impeccable attitude.

“Even Luis Enrique and his staff said it: in every training session, he gave it his all. He trained even harder, while many players would have given up, used injuries as an excuse to leave. He never gave up. So, what we can hope for Randal Kolo Muani is that he simply gets back on track elsewhere.

“Could he return to PSG while Luis Enrique is still there? No, I don’t believe it. I don’t believe it because Luis Enrique has a well-defined set of players in his system, and Kolo Muani isn’t one of them, so there’s no point in hoping for anything.”
