Darren Bent is very confident about what is going to happen with one Tottenham defender after his impressive performances during the international break.
Over 30 Tottenham players were involved in 46 fixtures over the course of the international break, and many of them had productive outings.
A couple of them manage to seal their place as guaranteed starters for their national sides, including Pedro Porro, who has been getting rave reviews from the Spanish media.
Another Spurs full-back has also made rapid progression during the last few days after making his debut for his country just last month.

Darren Bent makes confident claim about Tottenham’s Djed Spence
Spence played in England’s wins over Wales and Latvia, starting as a left-back in the former and a right-back in the latter.
He helped Thomas Tuchel’s men keep two clean sheets, and Bent is now convinced that the 25-year-old will have a spot in the Three Lions squad for next summer’s World Cup.
The pundit said on talkSPORT: “Djed Spence is another one who I think definitely, when I do my [England] squad later. I’ll just give you a little inkling, he’s in it.
“Djed Spence I think, and the reason why, I feel like he’s our new Trippier. Left and right full-back, he can play. If we have [a] left-back problem, get Djed Spence in there. Right-back you can do that as well.”
Spence was on the receiving end of bizarre criticism from a pundit
Bent has been very complimentary of Spence through the international break, and it is not hard to see why.
The Tottenham man posted some impressive numbers both offensively and defensively against Latvia, but he was on the receiving end of some bizarre criticism from one experienced pundit.
Roy Keane said that he worries about the defensive side of Spence’s game, which will leave Spurs fans scratching their heads as the 25-year-old has been nearly flawless defensively over the last 12 months.
