Tottenham Hotspur have signed some brilliant players over the years, but not every star settles into the squad and the Premier League so easily.

Since his move to Spurs in 2017 from AZ Alkmaar, Vincent Janssen has struggled with poor form and injury over his Tottenham career.

Spurs paid £17m for the Dutch striker (BBC), but a report from the Telegraph today states that the club are willing to take a £5m hit, making him available for just £12m to the right buyer.

Janssen, recently returned from a long-term foot injury, but has been no where near the first team as of yet.

He has however appeared in the last three under 23 games, scoring one goal and setting up a further three.

The Telegraph state there has been interest from China and the USA for Janssen, who scored 31 goals in 49 games for Alkmaar.

The U23 squad may not be much of a shop window, but Spurs will be hoping it is enough to offload the outcast forward.
