Tottenham XI of players Pochettino should look at selling this summer

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to bring in some fresh faces this summer after going on a 16-month transfer drought, however, they may have to sell some current stars to raise funds.

I believe that Pochettino has a lot of deadwood he could trim from his current squad in order to both bring in new talent and promote promising academy prospects next season.

So, here is my sell-able Tottenham XI:

Michel Vorm – Vorm has already been released by the club, but he was the only keeper I believe Spurs should be getting rid of. As soon as he slipped down to third choice, his time was up.

Kieran Trippier – After a below-par season, I can see why Pochettino may look to move the 28-year-old on in order to make room for a new young star.

Cameron Carter-Vickers – I’m not sure he has what it takes to break into the first team with the current competition in that position. Perhaps a loan spell at a low-level Prem club.

Eric Dier – While Dier is a good squad player, if a bid of £40m came in for him, I would find it hard to turn it down.

Serge Aurier – Not a great defender in my eyes and should be moved on for the best price possible.

Victor Wanyama – Not the force he once was, Spurs should cash in now, especially with up-and-coming academy centre mids coming through.

Christian Eriksen – As soon as a player gets his head turned, I think it is time to sell up. Eriksen could also provide the cash boost Spurs’ transfer fund needs.

Josh Onomah – Nothing tells me that this kid can make it at Tottenham.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou – Has never really made an impact under Pochettino. Should be sold for whatever they can get for him.

Erik Lamela – A player I really like, but his injuries are just too severe to warrant keeping him.

Vincent Janssen – Has barely featured for Spurs in the last two seasons.

What do you think? Did I leave anyone off? Should any of the above be given an extra chance?
