A Tottenham academy youngster has now won a prestigious award to cap off what has been a fantastic few weeks for him.

Luca Williams-Barnett has not looked back since being promoted to the Under-21s, with the teenager scoring yet another brace earlier this week against Newcastle United.
That has taken his tally to six goals and three assists so far in six games in Premier League 2, and it is this kind of form that saw Luca Williams-Barnett being handed his Tottenham debut against Doncaster Rovers last month.

That shows how highly the youngster is valued at Hotspur Way, with many expecting big things from him in the future.
The teenager has now won the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for September on the back of outstanding displays for Wayne Burnett’s men.
All signs point to the fact that this is going to be the first of many awards for the talented attacking midfielder as he continues his rise.

Speaking after his debut against Doncaster, Archie Gray revealed that Williams-Barnett has impressed everyone in training and admitted that everyone is excited about what the teenager can accomplish.
In fact, Gray even suggested that the attacking midfielder may have found the back of the net if he had 10 more minutes against Doncaster.
The youngster is not resting on his laurels, with Williams-Barnett setting his sights on becoming a Tottenham first-team regular after signing his first professional contract last week.
