Tottenham’s clash against Man Utd rescheduled for television coverage

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that their away Premier Leagye clash against Manchester United has been moved to October 4th for television coverage.

Spurs are currently in the middle of an extremely congested fixture schedule, with the team facing five matches over the course of eleven days starting with this evening’s trip to Macedonia for their Europa League third round qualifier against KF Shkendija.

The cancellation of the Lilywhites’ Carabao Cup clash against Leyton Orient on Tuesday following an outbreak of coronavirus cases at the League Two club, has allowed them three days of rest since their 5-2 victory against Southampton.

However, Jose Mourinho’s men will hardly have any recovery time over the next week and a half as they face Europa League, League Cup and Premier League matches nearly every other day.

Spurs finish their tough run with a trip to Old Trafford on Sunday, October 4, just before the players leave for the international break.
